[Yosuke was stretched out over his bed, tossing his seal up into the air when Souji's voice broke through the general hum as one he recognized. Extending his arm to make the catch, Yosuke grabbed it out of the air and brought it back to rest on his belly.

His rumbling, empty belly.]

Oh man, you're a lifesaver, partner. I didn't even think to get anything for dinner. [He leaned down over his bunk, fishing around under the bed for his sneakers. Like groceries, he hadn't thought to get any more weather appropriate clothing, either.] Be there in five!

[He paused just a moment to grab the seal with the hand not currently stirring a pot.]

You don't have any food in your cabin? [Shakes his head and sighs, even if he can't see him right now.]

Okay, bye! [Unfortunately, the seal was already in his pocket when Souji's last instruction came through it. It was for the best. Yosuke wouldn't be able to make any promises, anyway.

Especially not when he slipped on some ice just off the front stoop, his bare hands catching a fistful of a snow to break his fall. Damnit, why did the powers that be have to put him here of all places? It was with a self-pitying drag to his step that he made his way to Cabin #2.

The lights and smoke rising from the chimney did a bit to improve his mood by the time he knocked on the door. Knocked again. Tried the handle...unlocked!]

[He barely heard anything, busy making sure things weren't going to burn or boil over. When he heard the sound of the door though, he looked over. Relatively sure it was either Yosuke or a roommate that was out and was coming back in.]

If they knew the source of the music box, then it would be easy to figure out what is causing this phenomenon. But that is not the case. Whatever it is it seems to be omnipotent in nature.
