Hey guys. I know some people were talking about going ahead and meeting up and whatnot, and how some sort of a party would be a good idea

Cue Mint making a beeline towards said beach. Food and a beach. That meant good eats and a way to get out of this dump! All they needed was a boat. Psssh, why hadn't anyone thought of that before? Clearly she was a genius.
After a few wrong turns, she finds her boots hitting sand. A strong sense of elation surges through her- soon, soon she'd be on her way back! Back to hunting down the [relic]! The thought made her jump in glee.]
Hey! [She waves at Altair's figure, to catch his attention.] You're the guy that talked about a party, aren't you?
[Oh, hey, there's somebody here (presumably to hang out with him because he is awesome, or perhaps the other people who will eventually arrive but who are not quite as great as he is). Altair catches the wave and waves back - neither the voice nor the figure are one he recognizes, but that's been true for so many travels that it's not daunting at all.]
I am! Altair Grayston, priest of Raia, at your service. Feel free to help yourself! [A lot of the food that's there isn't that impressive, to be honest - some vegetables that have been cooked up and had a few seasonings added, and some chicken that's busy roasting on a fire (not in the bonfire, though!).
And a very large pot of some sort of stew. Okay, so he's been kinda busy prior to this, too (one does wonder how he got it all here).]
[One does indeed. Or one would, if one wasn't zeroing in on the food itself. Mint was practically drooling. Not a proper image of a princess at all! Her grandfather would be ashamed.
It's a good thing she didn't care!]
Hi there, uh- [What did he say his name was again? Alton? Aldrin? No, didn't it rhyme with hair? Something about being a priest for so and so. Aw screw it. She'd remember later. The stew was calling her.] You got any bowls for this?
Altair. And there are. [Altair gestures vaguely towards a stack of disposable bowls and cups and whatnot, made of styrofoam; a few already appear to be missing, mostly because to Altair styrofoam is a very new and interesting concept.
Plastic was, too, explaining the few broken forks near the utensils.]
[He was finding that it was easy to meet people in this city, and when he heard over his seal that there were people getting together for a bonfire. Well, that sounded nice. Maybe his friends would be able to come down for it, but for now, Souji had made his way down to the beach.
He saw some flickering, and he saw a man trying to get it going, it seemed.]
[Altair looks up and waves over towards Souji, smiling. There hadn't been quite enough people showing up yet, so any more people happening to show up is just a lovely occurance.]
A pleasure to meet you as well. Altair Grayston, priest of Raia, at your service. If there's anything I can do for you, do ask.
And help yourself to any of the food - after all, eating's what it's there for, right? [He's even willing to take Souji's coat and put it somewhere safe; he holds out one hand, in fact, to do so.]
[She'd come not because of the announcement (she hadn't seen it) but because she saw the fire. Curious she approached, sharp gray-blue eyes studying everything carefully.
[He's got your message and now he's lounging on over... but fail, Sebastian, he isn't dressed for the beach at all, and all he's carried with him is an umbrella.]
I do like to think I've picked up a few skills when I'm not busy with saving the world and whatnot.
[There's always going to be that slight "wait what I'm talking to a raptor what is my life" when he first starts talking to Sebastian, but at the same time, there's no denying that Sebastian is a far more interesting conversation partner than a lot of people. Altair waves at the classy raptor, motioning him over.]
We can have tea sometime. That'll make up for it, right? [Altair beams at the raptor. Tea has never been his strong suit; it takes time and care to prepare well, and time is not something Altair generally has.]
And don't worry - the stew, at least, I can make more of easily. The rest of it isn't too big a concern, as long as you leave some for the others!

[Rinoa's got the perk of living in a bungalow, so it's not a long trip to get to the beach. In fact, she's spent entirely too much of her time lately, walking along the shore with Angelo running around through the foam next to her. It was super nice really and while she might not admit it, she could totally get used to this.
Still, after hearing about a party she just can't skip out. It's time she actually got around actually met some people. She's only met a few so far after all and supposedly there are tons of visitors to the city right now.
So she heads for the party, approaching someone not that she could be sure who it was at a glance and smiled.]
So far it's always been nice in this district though, so I guess that's cheating. [Really, she's decided that she was lucky to land a house over here. Living on the beach was novel and kind of fun really.] You must be Altair. It'll be nice to be able to put a face to the voice from now on.

What's all this for?

For a party and a get-together to get to know people. Why not? [...hold on while he takes another look over you, Naoto.]

Altair-san. [She nods her head slightly in greeting.]
Ah, I see. An interesting approach. [She stares right back at him.]

Do you think it's a bad idea for us to have fun, to get to know each other?

That smells simply sublime, Mr. Grayston.

[He gladly comes over and sniffs at the delicious food. S-So good... although he probably couldn't eat a few.]
I'm afraid I have nothing to contribute, so I humbly beg your pardon for my rudeness.
