Hey guys. I know some people were talking about going ahead and meeting up and whatnot, and how some sort of a party would be a good idea

[He was finding that it was easy to meet people in this city, and when he heard over his seal that there were people getting together for a bonfire. Well, that sounded nice. Maybe his friends would be able to come down for it, but for now, Souji had made his way down to the beach.
He saw some flickering, and he saw a man trying to get it going, it seemed.]
[Altair looks up and waves over towards Souji, smiling. There hadn't been quite enough people showing up yet, so any more people happening to show up is just a lovely occurance.]
A pleasure to meet you as well. Altair Grayston, priest of Raia, at your service. If there's anything I can do for you, do ask.
And help yourself to any of the food - after all, eating's what it's there for, right? [He's even willing to take Souji's coat and put it somewhere safe; he holds out one hand, in fact, to do so.]
[Takes a hold of his hand to shake it.] I'm sorry, but I've never heard of Raia. Where are you from?
[Lets go of his hand and sets his coat to the side. This was a bonfire at a beach, after all. Though he also looked at the food with interest. It looked pretty good.]
I'm not surprised; many people haven't. I'm from Malinthea, or at least that's where I grew up. It seems like gods and goddesses don't necessarily extend to every world.
[The food does seem to be well prepared, if nothing else. Altair does know how to throw at least some sort of social gathering semi-competently, though normally he does like to give slightly more notice.]
We have legends about them. Myths. Or so that's what I've been taught. So you're one of the people from a completely different world, Altair-san?
[He was trying to add it all up in his head; people from the past, the future, and other worlds as well. This was going to be one interesting gathering, to say the least.]
I suppose so, then. Nobody else seems to be from my world, either. You're fortunate; you have friends here, no? Naoto and Yosuke?
[Altair is good at names, and having heard them pronounced before, they roll off his tongue fairly easily for someone who's not familiar with Japanese.]
I've spoken with Naoto and Yosuke, yes. Naoto a few times; Yosuke just arrived today, did he not?
They seem nice enough. [Altair smiles; mind you, this is half a lie and half truth, since honestly he doesn't know either one well enough to really say.]
So I've noticed. [A small frown; Altair... can sense something in her, but he's not quite sure what. Something hidden down.]
I do hope he shows up, at least. Seemed a bit confused by the ways of Raia, but ah, aren't most people? [Altair grins; he's used to this, honestly he is.]
I sort of wish someone from back home would show up, though. [Souji might get the briefest hint of pause, of concern, from the normally confident young man - then nothing.]
He saw some flickering, and he saw a man trying to get it going, it seemed.]

Sorry, I just came from the Alpine district.
[He walks closer.] I'm Seta Souji. It's nice to meet you.

Yes, they're my friends. We're not sure how all of us ended up here versus other people. But you've met them?

[Smiles faintly and nods.] They're both good people. Maybe a little hard to get to know, in Naoto-kun's case, but they're both nice.

I guess so. Especially if they've never heard of it before.
