It's based on a fairytale... Sleeping Beauty I think it's called. When the princess pricked her finger on something she fell into an enchanted sleep. Her true love, the prince, woke her up with a kiss.

If you just kiss someone on the cheek or forehead you can wake them up. You don't need to do CPR.
