Days are always sunny and pleasant at the beach. The waves crash and curl softly enough to keep him enthralled and to feel closer to home, even though he knows the Sea that created him isn't entirely present in the ocean before him now. This knowledge doesn't keep him from loving it and wanting to visit whenever possible, however.

Milen walks down the beach with hands tucked in his shorts' pockets, head deep in thoughts and unanswered questions. The boy with a necklace around his neck is becoming increasingly aware of how long it's been since he strayed from his quest. What would his creator think...?

And suddenly he feels a little spark of magic's presence. Nothing extraordinary and nothing he can pinpoint with certainty, though, Milen isn't nearly that experienced or powerful, relying only on the magic that runs through his own veins to identify it in others. His eyebrows arch and his lips curl into a little smile when he identifies the man it's coming from.

"Leoben!"

It took Leoben a moment to realize that someone had called his name, so engrossed was he in the hybrid's words. He sat up, looking around to see who had called.

"Milen," He said in way of greeting, though it seemed odd to have him as part of his projection.

Milen waved enthusiastically, a lopsided grin shaping his lips. He didn't quicken his pace on his way to Leoben's company, lowering his head and gaze every now and then.

"I didn't think I'd find anyone here at this hour."

"I needed a quiet place to think, and the beach seemed to work," Leoben replied.

Not that he was seeing a beach right now, but Milen didn't need to know that.
