Characters: Leoben Conoy and you.
Where & When: The Beach, Late afternoon/early evening? Let's go with that.
Rating & Why: PG, can't imagine anything too explicit is going to happen. If it does I'll change it.
Summary: Leoben is feeling homesick, which leads to projection, and a few visions.

It had taken a few months for Leoben to get homesick.

He'd been homesick before, back when he was living on the colonies, but back then, it was easy enough to leave and return to the baseship. Here, that was not possible, and so Leoben was a bit stuck. As much as he enjoyed being in the city, finding it alive and vibrant, he found himself longing for the Baseship. It felt like he was starting to loose touch with the mechanical side of himself.

It was a quiet day on the beach when Leoben decided to try projection, the innate ability of cylons to see themselves in a different space. He hadn't done it since he'd gotten to Splendor, as there was no reason to. The city was too interesting. But now? He had a reason. It didn't take long to recall the long, silent hallways of the Baseship, the cool metal floor, the ever present pulse the indicated that it was a living thing. Most importantly was that he could hear the hybrid's voice, and take part in her wisdom once again. It felt like he was home.

[ooc: So to the average person, it probably looks like Leoben is just lying on the beach. If your character can sense magic and/or illusions, you might be able to tell that he's projecting, but I don't think anyone can actually see what Leoben's seeing. Other details can be found here.]
