Thank you for saying all of this! Every once in a while, I start to think I'm wrong to feel the way I do, that I'm not getting it, and that I should be forcing myself to watch that show. So I'm thrilled to have my opinions validated.

Well said! I have to admit, I do watch the show and find it enjoyable, mostly for Jane Lynch's masterly execution of Sue's character. The enjoyment is superficial, but since I am unable to watch any programme in-depth at the moment, it fills a niche for me.

Yes, yes, yes! The only thing I like about this show are the mashups, and I can get those on iTunes if I really want them. It's a little... troubling to me that this show is so popular when I find the characters and storylines so awful.

I enjoyed the show a great deal the second half of the first season. Now I find every single character horrid and even the songs are driving me nuts.
