Am (obviously, given my spamity-ness today) back from ConFusion, aka The Con of Awesome. Fantastic weekend, just what I needed, even if I did have a bit of con collapse Sunday evening and got all weirdly maudlin.

Justine Larbalestier is married to Westerfeld, and also writes YA.

Do you read lots of YA or was this simple happenstance?

I have the first of her Magic and Madness series, but haven't read it (nor have I read Westerfeld). But they're both very nice and charming and funny! And Justine has the BEST accent.

I read a middling amount of YA. I'm not up on the current hot trends. But they both happened to be the guests of honor at the convention, and lucky happenstance landed my best friend on the juvenalia panel with them.
