Oh, wow. I love this. I love this so very, very, very much. John/Sam friendship is fast becoming a new addiction for me and this hit all the right buttons and is so beautiful and believable and I love that Sam's not alone on Atlantis and that John can't give up on Elizabeth. Using Sam's history with the replicators was wonderful, too; a lovely way of reminding us just what she went through with them.
Nice. I never thought about the Sam/Elizabeth parallels but yeah, there they are. I really like the line about the walls breaking apart...damn replicators, they did that a lot.
Poor John. I hope they get her back someday. I liked Weir.
Oh yeah! I really could picture the "chase" of John to get Sam to approve his plan in both a figurative and literal way. And I've been thinking for a bit how creeped out Sam must be to be fighting replicators AGAIN.

Yes, I am that happy you wrote this - it's incredibly moving and I love Sam here.
She tells him that even now, sometimes, when she wakes, she's never sure if it's real. If she's real.
Sigh...poor Sam. And now poor John because now he wants to try even harder.

That is the limit of my articulate response.
Means I like it though.
