I ended up ordering a Palm Z22 from Amazon (along with season 9 of Stargate SG-1); handhelds have gotten quite cheap in recent years (especially since the trend of phasing them out in favor of smartphones has begun in earnest). It's hard to believe an old-style Atari is back "in." Since you finally landed a full-time job that seems to be working out for you, I'd say you're entitled to a little splurge. Heck, I feel like I have a splurge coming if I just get my unemployment. How sad is that?

Hear, hear! I figure if an Atari can bring you happiness for 30 bucks, why not? Hope you get some resolution on that stuff soon.

I got the atari flashback 2 a few months back. I have never heard of half of the games that were on it, but man that thing is a total blast from the past. I can play missle command for hours.

Dude, I used to love Combat. The Flashback 2 even has the never-previously released Combat 2! We'll have to get in a few games of that or Missile Command next time I see you! :P

That looks like a cool PDA. I think you made a wise decision - why pay monthly for nearly the same thing you get from a one-time purchase.... Have fun setting up the new equipment. :)

By the way, what happened to your other post? I was going to comment when I got home, but it was gone. I guess I just have to put my two cents in here: You are a handsome guy. Don't let anyone tell you differently. My advise is if you don't try so hard to find the right girl, you'll find her sooner than you think.

I did remember that you told me you'd decided to get a new PDA over a smartphone, but I got on a roll there ranting a bit about cell phone companies, so it's there for future reference.
