It's complicated

I have a monster project at work due shortly. I will be juggling my way across the finish line. terrier_girl is only semi-functional with her pregnancy, and taking care of V puts her up to and often past her limit. I punted much of the work until now to make sure that I could help her though her PhD, and now I'm not finding the time I hoped to have. I blame no ( Read more... )

ahhh... I did not know that about calcium... I wonder if that has something to do with my cheese craving? I've been taking gummy calcium, but ran out- now I have one more reason to get more quickly! Took your advice and got a sun lamp and some full spectrum bulbs, and together with the chemical help- WHAT a difference! I almost sort of feel human-ish again!

LOVE hearing the V updates! Makes me smile every time, although I hate to hear you are so stressed. You are such a good dad and partner, I'm still thinking you're a prime candidate for cloning. Can't wait to see you guys- the last time T was pregnant, I never even got to see the phenomenon in person! She's so damn tiny, it's a little hard to picture, actually.

Do you have a backpack carrier? I'm asking because I know you do better when you get to spend time in the woods and strollers are not hiking friendly. I toss S into hers and strap her onto my back when I need some serious woods time. There are several on the market that V should still fit in comfortably and of course you'll be able to use it with the next one too. Just a suggestion.

I miss you guys. I haven't seen you since we went out to get Indian food when Terrier and I were both pregnant and the girls are already past the year and a half mark! This must not be allowed to continue. We have to find some way to get together before the year is over!

We do indeed have a backpack carrier. As soon as it's a little warmer V, Dargo and I will start taking our walks again. For now, it's too cold for a little person to be outside for the time it takes to do a loop at the park.

Hopefully, the next time you come though town, Terrier won't be too ill to get in a car. Sadly we won't be traveling your way for a few years at least. We'd love to see you.
