My fellow earthlings, I have preeclampsia and will be on bed rest until the baby is born. My blood pressure is WAY up, my feet are swollen and I gained 10 pounds in 2 1/2 weeks. I am constantly impressed by my ESL students. We were finishing London's "The Call of the Wild" and the two men from Guiena West Africa saw the book as a metaphor for slavery.
