If you wanted a technical explanation as to how you got here, I could probably bore you for hours with scientific descriptions. The short version is that the people in charge have a supercomputer who pulls people semi-randomly, without always seeming to consider the person's practical value in the situation. But as we have yet to be required to do anything, what use you are is a bit of a moot point.
