I decided to take out the trash today when I got home from work. This was a quick act of spontaneous cleaning. It wasn't really a noteworthy event until I lifted the lid to the can outside and threw in the ripe bag all in one motion. The squirrel, in that same fluid motion, either jumped and was hit by the bag, or was dislodged from the buster
