Kakashi smiled behind his mask as the others moved away. A bit of privacy, excellent.
"Oh, I'm sure of it." Kakashi practically, purred, his smile widening. "You should do it, you would look so pretty." His voice dropped until it was practically a murmur.

He felt a small surge of panic as Sakura and Tiki moved on to the costumes. While he knew that Sakura meant well, being left with Kakashi when the jounin wanted to tease him always left him flustered.

"Yes, but..."

Then he got an idea. Haku could still get out of this, somehow.

"But Kakashi-san, you said that you, too, would be in costume, ne? If I'm going to go as a girl, you should keep me company by crossdressing, too!"

There! Kakashi wouldn't agree to that... right?

Sakura paused from her perusal of the costumes to look up at Tiki. While Tomoyo-chan had better fashion sense than she did, it wasn't as if she couldn't pick out a good costume for him.

Tiki reminded her of one of the Western knights in those romance novels Rika-chan liked so much so...

"Why don't you go as a knight?" she suggested brightly, clasping her hands in front of her, blithely ignoring Kakashi and Haku in the background. "I think Tiki-san would look very dashing as one!"

"A knight?" Tiki echoed, lifting an elegant brow. "Is that so... a knight I'll be, then, if we can find a suitable costume."

From the looks of things, there would be no shortage of costumes available, at least.

"And what about you?" he added casually, striding forward to study the racks, eyes searching for what he recalled a knight of his world looked like.

Over my dead body Kakashi almost blurted out, but he paused and stopped himself. Haku obviously thought that he would say no, thereby freeing Haku of his obligation. Kakashi slowly grinned, looking down on the boy.
"Why, of course, Haku." he chirped. "I'll do it with you."
