Watanuki did not know how he ended up in a place with a lot of strange plants while carrying a tray of coffee jelly. He wasn't paying any attention to what he was doing actually; he was too preoccupied with asking himself what went wrong when he tried to get that creepy thing away from Sakura. Luckily for him, he didn't end up in a place with more shadows.

Unfortunately, he also didn't know how to get back to Yuuko's teahouse. So he was suck here, for the time being at least. And he wasn't in the mood to be chased around by who-knows-what.

Watanuki found a park bench after a few minutes of walking, and he plopped himself on it. He really did screw up earlier, didn't he? Sakura-chan was so upset when he tried to get that butterfly away from her. She said it was from a friend of hers, but why did it such a beautiful butterfly give off so much evil?

The sound of a plop startled her from the reverie, and the butterfly fluttered away, leaving Maora's finger hanging in the air for a brief moment. It was a weird sensation, almost symbolic. Once again a person that needed cheering up had been thrust toward the trouble maker, and the butterfly had become startled and left at the noise. As if Maguri was leaving her behind...

It made her feel very homesick.

But perhaps helping someone else like she was trying to help Ema-chan would make the loneliness go away...
Besides, it was, after all, in the teasing conniver's nature to investigate further.

"Maa~ such a face isn't good for your complexion." Her voice was slightly chipper as she peeked around the other side of the bench to take a good look at the boy who was sitting there.

Normally, his reaction to a person suddenly "appearing" would have been a great deal of shouting and limb flailing, but he was a bit depressed at the moment. Watanuki gave a start, and saw a pretty brunette looking at him on the other side of the bench. He took a small breath and smiled weakly, opened his mouth to say something --

Something light dropped on his nose, and the color blue filled his vision. He squinted. There was a butterfly on his nose.

A butterflyWatanuki shrieked loudly, falling on the bench and scrambling away from the butterfly. He watched in horror as the insect daintily landed on the tray on the bench, which thankfully wasn't disturbed when he fell off. Its fluttering wings seemed to be laughing at him ( ... )

The treasurer blinked at the spazzing of the black-haired boy before her. It was quite unlike anything she had ever seen before. With a tilt of her head, she watched, and waited for him to settle down. Maora was not about to get accidentally smacked in the face from this one here. Perhaps she should have kept a closer eye on the butterfly...it seemed to be as mischievous as she was.

Crouching down so she was eye level with the boy who was on the ground, the brunette made a slight eh heh sound.

"Are you alright?"

Her honey eyes blinked at him. How curious he was. It was almost a Maguri reaction, but to the wrong creature, since the baka loved butterflies. Maora knelt down, having a feeling that their conversation on the ground might take awhile.

"You seemed bothered before you even encountered the ferocious beast <3." The slight tease was not condescending, but the best word to describe Maora: playful.
