That being the case, she'd grumbled a reply to the shinigami -- yeah, she knew it was Rukia, but she was still a shinigami -- and headed out, face in it's usual scowl and betraying none of the pain her mangled and bandaged arm was really causing her. She'd tried her own hand on it, but her kidou skills weren't anywhere near Shinji's and if he couldn't fix it then she doubted she'd be able to. Maybe Yoruichi could do something about it. Otherwise she'd just have to suck it up and deal with it until she found Hachi and made his ass fix it.
And she wasn't gonna rush. They wanted to talk to her, they could

At the sound of her name, she stopped and looked up, violet eyes narrowing slightly before they recognized Yoruichi's slim silhouette. Relaxing her guard a little bit, she nodded in greeting to the older shinigami.
"It's good to see you. I almost didn't recognize you like that, without all your hair and in uniform."
Walking up to Yoruichi, she glanced around as she did so, catching no sight of either Hirako or Hiyori. She couldn't feel their reiatsu yet either, that slightly different sense that she assumed was what made them different.
Because of the hollows...
"Are Hirako or Hiyori here yet? Last I saw them, she was beating him into the ground with her good arm."

"I cut the hair a while back. It was a pain."
She frowned as Rukia mentioned Hirako and Hiyori. That sounded like them alright, but ...
"Last I saw them, they weren't in any shape to beat anything up, not even each other, and that was forty-eight hours ago."
She looked Rukia up and down quizzically.
"I don't get it, kid. You're telling me you know me, and I'm pretty sure I've never seen you anywhere. You're telling me you're Byakuya's little sister, but his parents are dead, and you don't look like you could have been born before that, not to mention I've never seen you at the mansion. What is going on here ?"

Could this place... have some sort of strange effect on time?
Shaking her head, she rummaged inside her shihakushou for a moment, mentally thanking Inoue for insisting that they take that photograph thing of everyone. 'A memory', she'd called it.
Before everything got complicated again...
"I'm not sure how, but... I think maybe we're from different times in our world. Maybe... you're the Yoruichi from what would be MY past. Here, look at this. This is the you that I know."
Holding out the small print, she waited for Yoruichi to study it, simply continuing her explanation.
"As for Nii-sama, I was adopted into the Kuchiki family. That's why I don't resemble him. Nii-sama's wife was my older sister."

Yoruichi took the picture and looked at it. That was undeniably her there. Her hair was longer, tied back with one of those Shihouin heirloom items that she'd managed to spirit away, her clothes were different, but it was her. And everything the kid was saying about Byakuya only made sense if they had happened ... if they would happen in Yoruichi's future ( ... )

"Hiyori?" He called into the darkness. He was still plenty pissed about her declaring to the entire city that he was a "dirty fuckin' molester" but she was still one of the few friends he had now. Swearing he as he wrestled his left arm into the make shift sling, he struggled to his feet and took up his zanpakuto. I wonder sometimes if I need some kind of mental help he muses as he closed his eyes and extended his senses outward trying to locate Hiyori's reiatsu.
"Looks like I'm going to have to do it the old fashioned way." Shinji told himself and set out into the city.

Now just to figure out where the hell they were supposed to meet. Closing her eyes, she tried to feel for the Kuchiki's reiatsu, scowling even more when the damned City interfered. She could feel it, just couldn't pinpoint it.
Oh well, it wasn't like there were a ton of damned people in this place anyway. Ambling her way over to the park, it didn't take long for her to catch sight of Rukia's slight figure, or the taller shape that was Yoruichi. Pausing, she blinked for a moment, not expecting the same Yoruichi she had seen, well.... the last time she'd seen her. Shaking her head slightly, she stalked over without so much as a greeting.
"Baldy not here yet?"
