Yoruichi took the picture and looked at it. That was undeniably her there. Her hair was longer, tied back with one of those Shihouin heirloom items that she'd managed to spirit away, her clothes were different, but it was her. And everything the kid was saying about Byakuya only made sense if they had happened ... if they would happen in Yoruichi's future.
Yoruichi rubbed her temple and grimaced in a way that once again Rukia would probably find familiar.
"This is crazy ... but that would make sense. I mean, Byakuya's just a kid who's studying to get in the academy and they haven't even chosen anyone to hitch him with, and here you're telling me that he's married and he took you in as well ... Hope he's not too hard on you, that kid is such a hothead ..."
She scratched her head and scrunched up her nose.
"But then, how come you know Hirako and Hiyori ? I mean, I broke Kisuke out of Central 46 because of the situation we had with them, but if you're right and I'm from your past, then you weren't around when it happened, and they would have been keeping the whole thing under wraps and blamed us for everything."

"No, he's... not like that anymore. I.. didn't even know he ever was."
Stepping forward, she pointed out Ichigo in the photo.
"I know them because of Ichigo. They're... training him, I guess you could call it. As for whatever situation you're referring to... I guess I don't know. Hirako only told me the bare minimum after we got Hiyori back under control."

"Am I supposed to know him too ?" she asked.
She was glad, in a way, that Hirako was apparently keeping low profile. God only knew how many years were actually separating them if the kid's theory was correct, and Yoruichi saw no reason to doubt it. xplanations could come when everyone was there, though.
She made a face again as Rukia mentioned 'getting Hiyori under control'.
"Ouch ! Does that mean what I think it means ?"

Rukia's face turned a bit more solemn and she nodded. "If you're referring to her hollow, then yes."
She didn't want to say too much, seeing as it wasn't really her information to tell, not to mention it was a tad disconcerting to know that Yoruichi apparently knew the group -- Vaizard, they called themselves? -- that was training Ichigo.
Just how much more are you and Urahara hiding?

So she and Kisuke had met all those kids ... would meet all those kids, that was so confusing ! Their plans had only be to go to the Real World, do as much as they could for Hirako and the others, and keep a low profile while monitoring Aizen's activities in Soul Society and protecting Hougyouku.
Apparently, a lot of things were going to happen. Except they had already happened to Rukia. Weird.
"Well, I'll just have to see what Hirako's got to say."
