"You mean you've been asleep this whole time?" Yuuko couldn't bring herself to say that it had been weeks. Maybe a month or more by now, it was nigh impossible to keep track of time in this city...
"Do you remember anything about the place? Something you can tell us to help us find you? Did he put a spell on you to make you sleep for a long time?"
Yuuko made herself pause and calm down slightly. "I should let you know, we found Touya. He's worried about you and he's doing everything he can to help us find you, but he's doing just fine, and I'm keeping him safe." If someone, Fuuma, she thought was going to try ( ... )

"Perhaps something happened when he joined the Church," she replied, unwilling for Sakura's sake to declare this Ken completely evil outright, no matter what she thought. "Maybe the the Church makes good people evil besides just taking the evil ones..."
She frowned slightly. "Then you've been sleeping for weeks. You need to wake up soon. But now that we know who has you, we can find you," she smiled. Whatever magic is on this city has made it very, very hard for anyone to track you." She paused, hesitant to ask, but deciding that she had to. "You say the room was weird? What made it weird? And...did you really hit your own head, Sakura-chan?"
Trying to lighten up the mood, she said, "I'll tell him you're alright, but I'd rather the two of you meet over my dinner table than in a dream."

She bit her lip then, and huddled a bit closer to the fire as she remembered. "It was very, very cold in there. I couldn't feel anything at all, except the cold. And the room was dark. I couldn't see anything at all. And it seemed to get bigger and bigger, until I couldn't even find the door anymore. There was this... magic there, too."
She paused, then continued. It had been so long since she'd seen Yuuko, that she didn't want to taint their meeting by lying. "Ken-kun threw me into the room. I hit my head then. It hurt," she whispered.
At the thought of seeing her brother again, in the flesh instead of in a dream, her expression brightened. "Onii-chan can cook! He makes really good fried noodles!"

Yuuko swallowed. So the son of a...he had hurt her. She pulled Sakura into a hug. "I'm so sorry," she murmured.
She grinned and pulled back at Sakura's next comment. "Good, I'll put him to work when we get you back. Him and Watanuki working together should make us a feast!" the witch cackled gleefully.
Yuuko paused and stared into the fire for a while. Should she tell Sakura-chan about Fuuma? Kamui was right in a way. If she didn't tell anyone what they were facing, she was no worse in trying to protect everyone than he was. She knew Sakura was strong and capable, but to give her and additional worry while she was all alone in the dreamscape...
She changed subject slightly. "What I don't get is why this Ken took you. There haven't been any ransom letters, nothing. He clearly doesn't want anything from us, or we'd have heard something by now." What if Fuuma got him to do it? spoke up a nagging voice in her mind. ( ... )

She managed a grateful smile at Yuuko, before blinking. "Zack-san has a boyfriend? Really?" It was like her onii-chan and Yukito-san, though she wouldn't say that out loud while her brother was around in this world. She didn't want to embarrass him.
Shaking her head to clear that thought away, she blinked again. "A... party? For me? Oh, no! It would be too much trouble!" she stammered, flushing darkly. "I'm not worth it, really! Just a dinner with our friends would do!"
Hearing Yuuko's next words made her freeze though, her hands, which she had been waving around frantically, stilling in mid-air. "The Mirror Card?" It had been so long since that had even crossed her mind, and she felt guilty all of a sudden for not thinking more about it, for not trying to figure out who was out to hurt her, and, more importantly, her big brother.
