Who: Hazel Grouse and Ky Kiske What: Hazel visiting Ky for food Where: Third Tenement, Room 305 When: After this exchange of messages. Rating: G? Open: Closed log is closed.
Ky was actually unprepared for the Bishop's arrival. He was sitting, resting, on the raggedy couch when the knock on his door startled him. He slowly got up, suspicious of the noise, until he heard the voice calling.
"I am, Bishop." Ky made his way over to the door and opened it. To be honest, he didn't think he would be visited this soon. When his eyes set on the man, Ky quickly understood why the Bishop came over so quickly. He looked worn down.
"Please come in," he said. He stepped aside to let his guest in. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you face-to-face."
It took a moment for Hazel to respond. When Ky opened the door, he didn't quite expect to be seeing someone... shiny. It must have been the blond hair distracting him. He blinked and finally spoke back, "ah... well, I'm glad to finally see you in person." He gave a kind smile as he took off his hat and gave a polite bow. "Thank you for inviting me over."
"It was no problem," Ky replied. He closed the door, making sure it was secure, before turning back to Hazel. "I'm afraid I haven't gotten anything ready yet, but please make yourself at home while I set the water boiling."
The man certainly needed something to eat, and Ky would give him just that. He walked over to his tiny kitchen, took a somewhat decent pot from the counter, and filled it with water. He couldn't help but frown at the quality of the water, but it should be fine after boiling.
"I hope you didn't run into any difficulties on your way here," Ky said after making sure the stove was heating up. If it wasn't, it was easily remedied; Ky had learned how to misuse the Fuuraiken to quickstart any appliance here. (His only problem was how much lightening to use. It resulted in a few misadventures.) He placed the pot on the stove and looked back over to wherever Hazel was.
[ooc: Sorry for the late reply XD; I had to attend to some work.]
"Ah, no. There were no difficulties at all, monsieur," Hazel smiled. He looked around the shabby apartment. He was rather pleased that it was at least tidy and it didn't smell bad. Taking a seat, he noticed some black marks behind some appliances.
"Monsieur, how come there seems to be some burn marks around here?" Hazel looked up at Ky with big blue inquiring eyes. He seemed to suspect them to be the doing of some sort of evil or whatever devious force this world could deal.
[ooc: continuing it here as not to push all the text to one side XD]
"Yes, please," Hazel nodded, "thank you so much, Monsieur Kiske. You have definitely fed me in both body and mind. I feel much more sane now in this insane place."
