Work on Mabel

Finally I got the tie rod ends and installed them last nite. Didn't fix the problem but helped a bit, they did need to be replaced. Now we think the problem is in the King Pin bearing. That is going to suck to replace and I don't know when I can get into the shop again. Now the clutch feels weird too and somehow I miswired the blinker and it won't ( Read more... )

my blinker hasn't turned off since i got my car, almost a year ago.

Thats because its a VW. You have a Golf right? If you hold the blinker switch in a different spot does it stop blinking? Can you change the direction that it blinks?

it's a fox. you should know, you stared at it for hours. and no. it doesn't stop no matter how much you fiddle with it. both left and right stay on when i turn. i have to turn it off myself, which i've gotten used to.

Oh, I thought you would have gotten rid of that crap box by now or it would have imploded. Wait, so you mean when you put your blinker on and then instead of it shutting off after you turn it stays on and you have to put it back to the center (off) position? Jeese, I bet your index finger must be worn out from all the extra work.
