i love what you did with the prompt, it's not easy to write AUs without extensive explanations and details...but you managed it. even the characters that are barely touched on seem meaningful, like i could care for them deeply; they all have their own stories...

Heechul doesn't want to admit it, though, that face is pretty gorgeous in the right light.
gorgeous. it means so much more than just thinking jungsu is pretty- it's such a heechul thing~

the dialogue between teukchul is fucking perfect, spot on characterization bb

"Your hair looks like you ran into a cloud of balloons," she remarks.

Heechul curls up underneath his own soft covers, even though he's too warm to wrap himself up. He's shaking.
So intense and painful somehow. that entire scene is just-

I'm a major sucker for AUs, YOU KNOW THIS. So I knew I needed to turn this prompt into something complicated, lol. Everyone definitely has their own stories, and it was really hard to not go deeper into their lives. It was really temping to develop Kyuhyun's part more, and I wanted to go into Heechul backstory, too, and then there was Victoria, and then Geng--haha, I had to keep reminding myself to stay on task.

Thank goodness D: I was so worried about TeukChul characterization, because it's different from all my other Heechul pairings and I don't write Teukie that much (sadly) but I mention him a lot in my fics lol.

Sigh, that part about Jungsu and Geng was one of my favorites. I was trying to explore both characters more through TeukChul dialogue and how Jungsu felt about Geng. I'm keeping this AU around for a reason ;)

I agonized over the ending afg;adfg I'm glad you like it >_< ♥

I love the prompt.
The Teukchul conversation, and basically Heechul's dialogue is just so real. It's so him.

Yes, those dimples, those are killers.

"Donghae, Eunhyuk, Victoria, Sungmin, Zhou Mi, Krystal, Luna, I could even name more people who I've seen you trying to help. Listen, I may not have known you for as long as you've been here, but I am also not stupid. I pick things up easily, Jungsu. And you want to fix everyone, I see it every day," Heechul is sitting at the edge of the bed now, and Jungsu isn't moving. "You need to be stopped."
He works too hard, really. Teukie needs to take a break and think about himself for once. He makes us worry so much.

Heechul sleeps in his own room that night. He lets what feels like Jungsu put his arms around his waist. For the first time in years, Heechul sleeps throughout the whole night.
i don't even know what else to say anymore.
