Just in case someone out there in LJ land hasn't seen this.. Admittedly I was more "obsessed" with BTVS, but I felt that the characters by the end of ATS were far more loveable. Also, as I said at CDS and various other places, Spike's journey from BTVS to ATS moved me more than any other. What James, Joss and the other writers did was create

*sigh* I miss AtS and BtVS...Joss's genius is simply amazing. I still giggle every time I see the cavemen vs. astronauts arguement, even though I know that by the end of that ep, I'll be bawling my eyes out.
