There's a very interesting article in this month's "Prevention" magazine. Apparently, exercising for an hour without stopping is LESS effective for getting rid of fat than exercising for half an hour, stopping for twenty minutes, then working out for another half hour. Now, there's the difference between (or at least A difference) between men and women. Women can disappear into the restroom and be gone half an hour without, you should pardon the expression, breaking a sweat!

Sounds great!

Except...I can barely focus enough to work out to begin with. IF I work out for 30 minutes and stop and take a break, I probably won't start up again. But man, it would be helpful!

Oh hey, guess what? I increased calories by 150 and toned down the exercising and I lost a pound. Oddly eating an additional 150 calories is difficult. I feel all bloated. Bodies are WEIRD!

Bodies are indeed weird! Getting rid of another pound = goodness!

I was reading another article in "Prevention" that said exercising in 10 minute blocks was also good. 10 minutes at a time several times a day.
