I don't know if I have ever had custard like that. I do like custard inside of a Bismark pastry. lol........
I totally know what that is and remember if packaged that way. I miss those days.
On Halloween, I am not positive that our rain was always completely liquid. :o So not ready for it. :o Snow should only show up for Christmas and then I am over it. LOL...... Hugs, Jon
Just saw a report this morning that Nov-Jan is supposed to be fairly normal for Minnesota weather wise. A little more mild to start with and ending more Wintery. So January and February will probably suck. LOL....
I'm not a big fan of custard; I never liked the custard pies my mom made at Christmas. I did make custard *once*- it was made with coconut cream instead of dairy cream and it took forever. Next time I want coconut cream pie I'll get the Jello stuff.
Is that a Ding Dong?
No snow on us yet, but it's snowed on the hills a couple of times. 4000' definitely had snow the other day (that's the altitude of the ski hill lodge and they put it on TV)
1) It depends on how it's prepared/used (I have a recipe that's used in/on Boston cream "pie" that I enjoy) b) I haven't for a long time due to neighbours activating their fire alarms (I think The Trio miss my making it and/or flan...)
2) WTF is that? I think that I'll share that with my non-LJ friends...
3) I don't think that we've had a killing frost yet, much less the four-letter word that causes more four-letter words...

I am thinking of making some (I usually do flan), but I need some milk and more eggs, if I do.
Why, Jon, I didn't know you were that old. I totally remember getting these in my lunch box. :D
Heh, you and your snow...

Sorry to hear that it's going to get more wintery there.

I like flan a lot and I do like a good egg custard now and again.
On the nosie!
Sounds like our mountains. Not enough to open the ski resorts yet, but they are hopeful.

It's a Hostess Ding Dong. Used to be a prized commodity for lunch trading purposes.

Ah yes, the familiar look of a ding dong!
We have had a stupidly temperate/warm autumn so far. No sign of snow.
As I love snow, I’m so ready.

Same here. I tend to do flan more than anything else (I'm a caramel fan).
:DD
Ours has finally started to cool down, but we've already had two 'snow incidents' as they are called by the weather folks here. :DD

2) Nope XD
3) No signs of snow yet, but it's definitely getting colder.

It's a Hostess Ding Dong. You used to be able to trade great things for one at lunchtime.
Same with us. Every day, the thermometer inches downward a bit.
