These will be short answers this time!

I'm not a custard fan, so I've never made it! I think it's the texture I dislike, not the taste.

I don't know what that is! I think I should know, and if you tell me, I sense I'll go ... DUH!

There's no snow in the forecast or near future. If we head for Hilton Head as planned, I doubt I'll see any snow! I don't want a winter full of snow, but I admit ... I miss it!

Makes since. It does have a distinct consistency to it.

It's a Hostess Ding Dong!

I can't say I miss it at all, even after all these years.

1) Dunno if I've actually had it. Do like vanilla pudding, and flan's not to bad - so, maybe yes?

2) *sigh* Miss the original Ding Dong. They don't taste the same now. Nothing of Hostess is good anymore. They may have changed the recipes.

3) No, thank the gods. Wish the grow zone would change from 7a to an 8, then it wouldn't get so damn cold plus fricken snow and ice that take FOREVER to go away.

Flan is basically custard with a caramel sauce.

Yup, they used to actually taste good back then.

Same here. Snow in the mountains and that's fine with me, but not down here, not now, not ever. :DD

Not a fan, I have no idea, and I wish! It got cold overnight last night but is going up to 20C again on Tuesday or Wednesday. We broke 12 heat-related weather records in October.

It's a Hostess Ding Dong. It used to fetch a good price during lunchtime trading.

Gads, you sound like us! Ours was the hottest October we've ever had in record history. No fun at all.

Yes, it's been a while.

I don't know that I ever saw them like that.

There's some snow in the mountains. Nope, I'm never, ever ready for cold and snow.

I am thinking of making some this week. TBG would be happy.

This would have been in the early 60's. I'm not sure when they stopped wrapping them like this.

I know how you feel. I'm loving the weather right now.

I don't think i knew about them in the 60s.

My body, well, my shoulders, are not happy with the weight of my winter coat hanging on them.

You must wear a really heavy coat. Have you tried down?
