1) Who are you appreciating in your life right now?
Besides my husband, son, and brother, of course. The Doctors and nurses that take care of my husband, the ladies at the Chiropractor's office. They are a god send, for sure. Friends and neighbors who always seem to have the time to help out when we need it. The lady who has been cutting our hair for, at least, the last 20 years. I live in fear that she's going to retire.
2) What's something you've done this year that other people appreciated?
I've tried to be as good a neighbor as they are to me. We give the girls at the Chiropractor's office a gift of $100.00 every year for Christmas and they each get cup cakes on their birthday, enough for everybody in the office, of course.
3) What's a good way to show gratitude?
I agree with you. Smile, say thank you. Pay it forward.
4) Do you write thank you notes?
I don't.
5) What can you use help with these days?
As much as I hate to admit it, I could probably use help with yard work. Probably some of the big stuff inside too.

2) I try to be a good neighbor as much as I can, as well as letting people know how much they mean to me, and I write on my LJ as much as humanly possible too,
3) Saying thank you and a kind word to anyone who might not have know they needed it.
4) I do write thank you cards, especially to family and friends out of state and overseas.
5) I'm good with most things, though I could use some help with decorating for the autumn season soon.

Oooo, I wish I was there to help you decorate! :D You know how I am!

1) The Trio, my non-LJ friends and my current "banker"/caseworker
2) Introduced several people to different decaffeinated teas and other items that are/were off their diets
3) Depends on the person/purrson
4) I have except for The Trio (I'm not sure if they'd be able to read/understand the written note)
5) Find someone who would be able/willing to get Tovarish to a vet so she can get her vaccinations or have a competent vet come over to give her the vaccinations

2. I regularly contribute to a number of charities, especially ones that feed people in my community, and our local search and rescue group. I had been transporting my Aunt to eye doctor appts with me, but she is now in a hospice home and is no longer attending doctor appt.
3. For me, the best way to show gratitude is to be present in people's lives. A phone call, a card, a note... visits and chats online. I try to do all these things.
4. Most of the time, I try to. Depending on my eyes, and if I had an injection. The macular edema sometimes makes my handwriting go off lines. If I can't write I generally email or phone.
5. My hubby is terrific and does much more than his share.
