1) Who are you appreciating in your life right now?

2) What's something you've done this year that other people appreciated?

3) What's a good way to show gratitude?

4) Do you write thank you notes?

5) What can you use help with these days?

1. I always appreciate my friends and, of course, TBG. I don't know why folks put up with me at times.

2. I'm guessing the posts to my journal. People seem to enjoy them and they are a labor of love for me (even when I don't get them right all the time). We had a nice birthday party for Joan and Julie, both of whom turned 90 this year. We've done errand and taken care of Jeff when he was house bound with COVID earlier this year.

3. Saying thank you for little things, not just the big things. Remembering that I might be in a bad spot and need a friend one day and paying it forward.

4. I do. It's a small way of letting people know you appreciate they effort they've gone to for you.

5. I'm pretty good with most stuff around the house. TBG does more than his share of cleaning and isn't afraid of doing the laundry or cooking a meal. I'm very lucky that way. Everything else pretty much is as it should be.

just wondering, the friday five
