Sorry I wasn't around much yesterday. I got a text early in the morning from Jeff telling us that he'd spent the night in the ER. He started coughing, had a panic attack and his throat closed up to the point of where he blacked out. Thankfully, that brief moment gave his windpipe a chance to relax and he was able to breathe again. He called 911

And Spot is back! That is good news. We have a little gray cat hanging around our yard, and have put water out for her. It's been so hot. She belongs to the new neighbors, but doesn't seem interested in staying in their yard.

Thanks! I'm so happy I could cry. It was not good to have him alone and I'm relieved his daughter finally figured that out.
I didn't think she's leave us. I mean, she was born on that patio and grew up there with her three brothers, who have all vanished now. She will have a home here as long as Bast lets her stay.
Good luck with the grey kitty! Cats are silly that way. They never seem to be happy with what they have.

At least he's not alone and that is huge for me.
It's about par for the course here. Our record for today is 108, so at least we are cooler than that. (not that it helps much).
I'm very happy about it.
