Vacations definitely require a day where you don't do much, and that's definitely necessary.

Sounds like a lovely dinner :)

I was worried about my back and those rough roads, but it did fine.

What a day. No wonder you were worn out, but that food sounds wonderful and I can almost feel the heat from the sun. Wish I could actually feel it as we got down to 3 below last night.

Have fun and take care of yourself. Big hugs.

Hi Fred!

Brrr... Poor Fred, he hasn't gotten out much on this trip. I bring him along and then forget to take him out of the knapsack!

Thanks! So far, so good!

The heat would certainly tire me out, too.
Though it sounds interesting to see all that about volcanoes...the Canary Islands are volcanic and last year one of the very inhabited islands has a 3-month eruption. So much destruction, and we saw it all in real time on the news every day.

I know you love cruises but just fly here and spend time letting us show you our corner of the world! I promise you downtimes and good food and drink.

The heat is draining, more than I remembering it being. TBG and his volcanos. He's happy; I'm happy.

That's also in play, but TBG wants to see Gibraltar and spend time there. There are sevearl options, so no worries.

Spend time in Gibraltar? The most people can do is a few hours there. There's a high street and monkeys up the rock and literally nothing more of interest. I have to check on what entry requirements are these days. Brexit really screwed things up. The ironic thing is that a lot of Gib natives actually prefer to live in Spain on the other side of the fence. It's cheaper! But we can surely check into going down there.

It's something he is interested in, for whatever reason and his condition for the trip, so to Gilbralter we will go.
