Yesterday was a pretty weird day. While we were watching TV, we had a glass shelf break. A tiki glass, a cat statue, and my beloved ‘little grass shack’ tchotchke were casualties. I'm sorry to hear that. We've been stuck in the house since December, so this was good news for us.

At least here they don't blame us for the vaccination issues. The powers that be know full well that 94% of Spaniards want to be vaccinated and at least they are honest enough to say "We don't have vaccines. Send more." But nobody sends more.

It was very weird. Neither of us were even close to it. barb suggest that perhaps all the vibration had taken its toll.

I wish we could send you vaccines. Who are you trying to get them from, do you know? TBG said you should just jump ship and come here and get vaccinated. They aren't even asking here anymore.

We all have to wait until we're called by the public health department which has a very efficient vaccination program going. They are going by age groups. The main issue is that not enough vaccines are arriving for them to vaccinate quickly and continuously. We can't seek out the vaccine from other sources which don't exist.

The EU and the US have travel bans imposed on each other so it's not a good time to travel there since you have to jump through a million hoops and provide negative PCRs done within 72 hours of travel both going and returning.

Oh no, so sorry about your broken items, I hope they can be repaired!

So annoying about your sister. Back when my parents first got cell phones, they thought they would still ring if you turned them off. So they would call me, leave a message, and then turn the phone off. I would call back 2 minutes later and it would go right to voice mail. Then they'd complain that I never called them back.

Our vaccine eligibility is supposed to be fully expanded in another couple of weeks, but I just came back from Georgia where everyone over 16 is eligible and they're basically begging people to come in and get their shots. My whole immediate family is now vaccinated but many of my friends are still waiting.

I hope they bring you back some plants soon!

Me, too. I know a couple are easy fixes; I just have to do it.

It sounded like she was upset for I figured it was bad news, like one of the cousins passed or something. Still not a word from her. Of cousre, she's deaf and if she turns off her hearing aids, it doesn't matter how many times I call.

I hope that more and more folks will get with the program. Sigh... or send those vaccines to people who want them.
