Barring the squall it sounds like you had two lovely days of leisure. I envy you being able to quilt while on your cruise. I have a full sized bed quilt that still hasn't been quilted although the top was peiced 20 yrs ago. It seems hard to believe. I posted some pictures about a year ago when I pulled it out and set it on a quilting frame. Unfortunately, my eyesight isn't what it used to be and I haven't hand quilted anything other than a single sampler block years ago so I'm not enthusiastic and keep putting it off.
It would be pretty nice if I ever got it finished. :)
It was very nice to have a couple of days to rest and get stuff packed away without the last minute rush. WE are just a few minutes from our last tour and I'm hoping it will be a great finish to our trip.
Oh, I wish I could see it, but no photos will display because of the security on this WiFi site. I will have to wait until I am home. All I do is hand quilt, but it's hard due to the carpal tunnel and arthritis. The warmer weather helped out quite a bit.
I've only don't one queen size quilt and it was quite the challenge. I much prefer the smaller projects now.
I'd like to hear your opinion when you get home to see them. :) I sewed the top but decided to hand quilt the pattern. I have to re-trace the center design in the white squares because it's faded over time. :)

You did remember to bring peace offerings for your four-legged children, didn't you?
