Hungry? That read certainly filled a few corners.

It was nice of them to give you that cook's tour. (sorry!)

Please give Dennis my best wishes. And a hug if you think it'll help.

It certainly filled all my empty spots! It's always amazing to me just how small the galley really is when you figure they have to provide three meals a day for around 1,000 people.

When I see Dennis next, I will do that. He is doing his best, but I think it's been very hard for him.

my oh my, now that is one heck of a tour--of course the eating along the way makes it well worth it. Sound like a great time, even though the sea didn't cooperate

It really was a fabulous experience, but I don't think I will be hungry again in a month!

Ooooo... so many delicious things I couldn't resist... The probleme is that when you love everything you eat... there is no place left for the " iced Cointreau-Raspberry parfait"... Er... no. Always place for anything tasting Cointreau...
Best wishes for Dennis and Mary!

I will pass you well wishes on to them.

The food really was beyond delicious... well, except for the caviar. It was bad, just not to my tastes.

I'm so sorry for that poor lady who wanted to get her book signed and couldn't get to Riga.

All that wonderful food. How splendid.

Everyone was upset for her. I spoke with another couple today and her husband was also Latvian and they were equally disappointed about missing the stop.

If it helps, the current mayor of Riga is Nils Ušakovs, his official address is Rātslaukums 1, LV-1539, Rīga, Latvia, and his official email address is info@ushakov.lv. Perhaps if the Lady with the Book emailed his office and explained her situation, she could arrange to post the book to him for signing and then have him send it back to her in the US?

The food at the Chef's Table sounded delicious! I think it was very sensible of you to pace yourself.

This is brilliant. I will pass the information on to her. Talk about being a lifesaver!

Even with pacing, I still way over-ate!

Well, there's no guarantee they'd say yes, but at least it's something she could try.

I'm sure she will be delighted. Chris is napping at the moment, but as soon as he wakes up, I will dig out her card and forward your message on to her. I think it's a fabulous idea!
