So excited! They have announced the movies for the Studio Ghibli Fest. We've missed Ponyo, but this weekend is one of my favorites: The Cat Returns

It's one of my favorites. We just watched Whisper of the Heart on Monday, so that's pretty neat. I wish we'd seen that documentary.

The documentary Kingdom of Dreams and Madness is on DVD and netflix if you want to watch it.

One of my best friends' kid was obsessed with Ponyo when he was little (~3). I special ordered a Ponyo shirt for him for his 4th birthday. When he was opening his presents, at first he thought it was clothes and he was not happy, and then when he saw it was Ponyo he was so thrilled. It was adorable. I'd really love to take my niece to see Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away, but it looks like it isn't playing near us :(

I'm sorry they aren't closer to you. We are fortunate that the movie theatre is just a few minutes from us. Ponyo is a cute movie, though!
