Day 23 - Ending.

Hands down, it's Howl's Moving Castle. Sophie and Howl are together, safe and happy in each other's arms. Markel has the family he longed for. The Witch of the West has the love she long sought and even Heen is happy. it was the happiest of endings, but it also makes me want to cry because I want it to go on forever. Day 22 Cast

Ghibli has managed to attract some of the best voices around from Michael Keaton (Porco Rosso), Christian Bale (Howl), Tim Curry (The Cat Returns), Mark Hamil(Castle in the Sky) and so on.  I love them all.  I don't pick a movie for the voices, rather I pick the movie for the script and the artwork. Great voices are just extra.

Day 21 - character development

Never is that more apparent than Chihiro's growth in Spirited Away. She went from being a whiny brat who was afraid of everything to a capable and brave young girl. She learned what hard work was and how to take responsibilities for your mistakes. She learned about friendship, love and how to be strong.
