Okay, the next camping installment

Saturday morning came way too soon. We had bought memory foam and a down topper for the sofa bed and it worked like a charm. Even better - no mice! Yay! I didn't sleep as well as I'd hoped, but that was okay. I woke to people tiptoeing back and forth to the bathroom. TBG advised me that it had been going on for about ten minutes. I decided to heck

That's six miles - one way, it was a 12 mile hike in all.

Like you, my hiking days are behind me, but camping is still possible with the bunkhouse - all the comforts of home without electricity or cell service. :D

No computer till Sat. Had a hard time locating a power cord as my model was only made one year. It won't be here until hopefully Fri.So using kindle and not great for typing. So sorry short answers

a 6 mile one way hike - does that mean that it was 6 miles to walk around the like or did she walk 6 miles tot the lake and 6 miles back ? It has been some time since I made such walks ! Sometimes it sounds great to be young :-D

Yup, twelve miles in all. She slept like a rock that night! I'd love to have her energy again.
