it's true, isn't it, there's no lower-middle-class woe that a good dose of cynical laughter can't get you through :) whether it shows a mental toughness or just craziness, I can't never work out....

also, if you haven't already, you should get in touch with your local council asap to claim housing benefit!! 'delaying your claim can result in you losing benefit', etc etc etc, and they can pay up to a maximum of your full rent for the time you're off work (even if it's only a week it's still worth doing). and there's jobseeker's allowance for your living expenses.

good luck with it all! jobhunting and keeping is a nightmare!

You know it's meant to be lucky, right? (bird shit, not the other stuff) But I guess that's just a lie to console the poor fools who are so unfortunate. I'm really sorry about everything going on, says she helpfully. From what I've learned/seen cancer can be pretty variable - my grandfather went strong for ages and ages after he was diagnosed, raging against the dying of the light and so forth.

But was the concert good?
