Whoa. I guess I'm not surprised, but the news still hits hard. It all sounds very professional and once again I find myself wondering whether special para-military units were brought in from outside.

Interesting about Phil. He's heavily featured in "The Nation" article from last week. I found myself wondering just why the hell people put up with him. I guess the presence of people like this is part of the ongoing problem with this kind of thing. It is all sadly familiar terrain for this reader...
