Dormagus hovered invisibly above the rooftops, one hand stretched out as he chanted softly. He slowly swung this way and that, like a pendulum twisting at the end of an invisible string. He'd been finding little traces of Loki all over the city, but nothing that really connected together.

He was actually getting pretty frustrated with this little god hunt. Why couldn't Loki be one of those unsubtle types who just rampaged through the middle of downtown?

Darkdevil was, typically, being anything but subtle. Running (or sometimes leaping) from rooftop to rooftop, going wherever that tingling sensation led him.

It was getting pretty frustrating. So far all he'd found was a robbing (easily foiled with a good whack of the billyclub) and a kitten in a tree (no, just no).

Dormagus' body jerked suddenly, drawing him hard towards something that felt like a very fresh bit of godly activity. "Finally," he muttered, letting the tug pull him through the air, taking him right past Darkdevil.

Darkdevil's head jerked up at the sudden flare of his senses. "What was that?" Something, or perhaps someone, powerful going past him--

Yet out of sight. A normal man would think he was going mad, but not this one. He knew a lead even when he could see it. "All right," he grinned, running in the direction of the... whatever it was. "Let's go."

Wait. Did he actually say that out loud? No, he couldn't have- yes, yes, he did. "Or, um- uh, J2 or any of those Avengers, I've always assumed they were around high school age."

Yes. That was one of his Worst. Cover ups. Ever.
