Shopping Angst
How lame am I that the idea of grocery shopping turns me into a puddle of whimpering goo. Our town has maybe 7 grocery stores. Five of them are Market Baskets... surrounded by picketing employees and managers who want the old CEO. I am not sure how much of our plight (I feel like we are living under an embargo) has reached the outside world ( Read more... ) -
Too old for this....
3:17am. Chaperoning the school's lock in. The kids are good. Goofy. Almost to the falling down stage. Only minor frisbee injuries so far.

Delinquent
I am a delinquent. I logged into my library account and there it was. "Member is delinquent." Something about that tickled me. My life is so boring. And filled with responsibility and yet, somehow I found the time to be delinquent. How naughty. Okay. The shame is too much. I will pay my $2.20 and shed my bad girl image. -
What I do....
I am at the Y. I am (rather obviously) not working out. I might since I am here for two kid classes. 2 hours. I have time to fit in my 12 minutes on the bike (that being how out of shape I have gotten ( Read more... ) -

No one wanted to get up today. I hollered up the stairs that there was fun waiting for them if they came down. The nine year old yelled back, "it better be a bouncy house."
It was not a bounce house. It wasnt even pancakes. But she knew that. That's why she didn't come down.

It is a long, ridiculous story but we had to drive back to school in a hurry to find Ki's laptop. The bus monitors were about to head in and I knew that was our last chance at an open door.
