That's a really interesting idea. I'll gladly read the continuation 8D It's always nice to see a different take on the Alice universe ( ... )

I thought this way for a long time, too. The idea about Alice's body being left in the real world is very interesting (and tempting, especially with the possibility of it dying). The truth end shows us that she had the bottle (I think it was both a metaphor for her guilt and an actual object) with her when she got back, and it can mean that either Alice had it with her before and just forgot about it (and unconsciously made it a symbol of her guilt while she was in the dream), or she was physically in Wonderland and that bottle was something that existed there. It didn't seem like a lot of time passed in the real world while she was in Wonderland, so it most likely means that the time there passes much more slowly than in the real world. That is assuming Wonderland is real, otherwise it's easy to explain how barely any time passed while she was "asleep", since a lot can happen in a dream in a very short amount of time ( ... )

I don't usually like AU's but if they are a 'what if' scenario and not some high school parody they can be really good(just much more rare). It's a lot of fun to imagine what may be going on with Alice's physical body. I always assume it's in some coma-like state. That catatonic schizophrenia idea of yours was really interesting though. For a little bit at the beginning I thought you might have Nightmare filling her head full of crap and encouraging her to dream, and that would be the explanation for all the things Nightmare says in the games. But I like the direction you went with it because I want to see how Alice responds to the situation ( ... )

Thank you!

I'm not really an AU person either... particularly because of the terrible high school ones that seem so prevalent no matter what the fandom. But, there's just so much we don't know about what happens to Alice's body... coma? goes to Wonderland? still just a short little nap? There's a line that Nightmare says in particular in Clover when she's dreaming and talking with him and he asks her which is her real self - the one with him or the one in the bed. It leaves a lot of room for speculation on how real Alice's Wonderland self is.

I'm sorta of mind that, like you mentioned, if her body died she might feel like she couldn't return without perhaps knowing why. I like to think Nightmare would definitely know. (And the darker part of Wonderland has a part of me thinking that that's the moment the role holders are all longing for with batted breath - when going home is no longer a possibility for Alice and she's there forever ( ... )

In a way I like how Quinrose leaves room for speculation. There are so many possibilities that exist. Sometimes Alice is the most mysterious character of all. And I don't think the games will ever take a deep look at Alice after returning from Wonderland or what went on during Wonderland.

Yes, if Alice can lose her physical body then I expect you're right about the role holders. That idea probably rates right up there with wanting to sleep with her(maybe higher).

I'm starting to feel bad for Alice. Most of our ideas for her in her world would send her on a one way trip to the loony bin. What kind of cruel fans are we?

And I forgot to mention before, good job bringing in Doctor Julius Monrey. XD

That whole otome problem: tons of attention lavished to the male characters, the world, etc... significantly less attention paid to Alice and her place in that world.

I'm actually surprised more of the added routes in Anni didn't play off the 'drink the bottle' idea as it was one of the few things hat ensured Alice would stay with them. Sleeping with her can always come after... but ensuring that she's there forever. That would seem to be the immediate priority.

Hehe... yeeeah, some major Alice whomping. (*cough* Though the canon Alice of all Alice's did in fact have several identity issues that could have been indicators of mental issues...) But, I do think it's compliant with the canon. They say so many times that she'll be happier in Wonderland. It makes since that, rather than just diminishing into a fraction of her former self the guilt she feels could eventually overwhelm her again and drive her to do anything that would make her feel closer to her sister ( ... )
