Today is awesome. We took the House, and we've taken the Senate, too, against my expectations. It's not official yet, but Dems are winning in the last two races, Montana and Virginia, by margins much greater than Bush's over Gore in Florida, 2000. They're only "too close to call" for the media. Barring some crazy development, we have both ( Read more... )

Thatn would have worked if he lived here and was going against Jamie Pedersen, for sure. I'd vote for him no matter what he was wearing! Well, not KKK robes or a Nazi uniform, i guess...

Plus Rumsfield's resignation. When I turned on the tv last night, Santorum was giving his concession speech. But he was so fucking glib it didn't seem like he was conceding (except his son was crying!). And of course he just ignored his son. The man is Satan. Looking forward to the show tonight! Don't suck.

Are you sure that wasn't a girl crying? I saw a picture in the paper of his (homely) daughter crying and clutching her dolly.

Rumsfeld's resignation is just to cover his ass. He'd be investigated by congress, now, and he'd never survive.

Watch for Bush to appoint Lieberman as his replacement, and for Lieberman to choose a Republican for his senate seat, losing the majority for us.

I never suck!

i tried to whistle when you came out but I've never been able to do any more than a very soft, nearly silent whistle. Perhaps that was best anyway.

I hope you do more with Brown Derby! Sorry I left, I had to get home and unwind for bed.

I hope so, too. I was talking to Ross about a small, but specific (and potentially hilarious) cameo in Total Recall. We'll see.
