Today is awesome. We took the House, and we've taken the Senate, too, against my expectations. It's not official yet, but Dems are winning in the last two races, Montana and Virginia, by margins much greater than Bush's over Gore in Florida, 2000. They're only "too close to call" for the media. Barring some crazy development, we have both

I really can't understand it. It's crazy because he doesn't even seem like he was very liberal. good looks + moderation should have trumped the (D) after his name. I know that's patently superficial. So be it!

He should totally cut and ad for Brawny! Forget politics and go to Hollywood! And then go back to politics when he's famous and beloved and his party affiliation won't matter (see, Schartzenegger, Arnold... unfortunately).
