did you only just see Starship Troopers for the first time last night? i was taken to see it in SF when it came out in hte theatres and had NO IDEA i was going to love it so much.

I love love love love Starship Troopers... and speaking of Verhoeven, VH-1 aired (yet another classic, albeit trimmed-as-neatly-as-Elizabeth-Berkley's-pubic-hair version of) SHOWGIRLS last night. No pussy, no fuck words, but sill excellent.

Their version is even better! The CGI-or-drawn-on bras that kind of magically float over the breasts? Beautiful. And the parts where the profanity is dubbed over are hilarious.
