I think it was in Tielan's post where they said their "mean" response to "Your English is really good!" was "Thanks, so is yours!" and I thought that was totally not mean enough. That question deserves "Thanks, but yours is terrible! What was wrong with your school?"

I can't believe people actually say that. It's like ... did they really only have white friends growing up, or something?

I'm sure there's some asshole thing I do or say that I don't notice, even though I am trying to be a good human, but man. How sheltered do you have to be?
