I just got back from seeing the B-52s at the 930 Club here in DC... amazingly enough, I'd never seen them live before. They're pretty firmly a nostalgia act at this point (double the normal ticket price, half the show length, oldest, rudest crowd I've ever seen) but still SO FUCKING AWESOME. That's all I have to say about today. Luckily everyone is so sugar-stoned from my mom's notorious Christmas cookies that even the grouches are relatively pleasant.

First: Everyone should get to do the badass walk at least once in their life. You know what I mean-- striding away in slo-mo as explosions billow up behind you, preferably with a cool swoopy coat flying in the backdraft. Like this!
