At the Apoptosis in Progress seminar, the lunch provided was from Potbelly. Mmm. I decided to cut out early, since I had things to do. I noticed there were some leftover sandwiches, but none of them were turkey, so they didn't do me any good

that is so awesome of you! *kicks a small down dirt road* there arent any open beggars around here. closest thing are the people who's dog's poop in the park and ask if you have a spare bag on you when you're walking your dog. I always haev extra bags. and dog cookies.

I love giving my leftovers to bums! One tradition that Ben and I have here that I'll really miss is every time we have leftovers from Bombay Cafe downtown, we find a homeless person to give them to. It started because we were walking back to our car after the first time we went there, and a man asked us if we had any change. "Sorry, we just spent our last cash on dinner," I truthfully said. Then I looked down and saw the box in my hands. "Do you like Indian food?" I asked. He did, and we gave him our leftovers, and we've been doing it with various bums ever since.

Man, I'm going to miss doing that. Kennesaw has a much lower homeless population than Athens.
