War and Peace and Peace and War and...Yes, Those Frelling Wormholes Again

Before I get to the Farscape portion of this post, I'd like to note that I met blixie last night. She and jenelope were in town to see Brokeback Mountain, and I caught them at Starbucks after work and let my blood sugar run low for two extra hours. We talked about TWoP and television and how your LJ archnemesis is frequently very similar to you. Also, I have ( Read more... )

Grayza is pregnant entirely because the actress was pregnant at the time, but it raises interesting possibilities considering it could very well be John's kid (and I think it is - no way Grayza wouldn't use birth control otherwise or wouldn't abort the thing unless she thought she could use it). It gives her a hold over John and if one goes with the crazy genetic memory thing (which, I don't know how the ancients inserted the knowledge, so I don't care) creates a possible larger danger. Although, John knowing his kid was in her hands would be enough.

he's a badass who gives his gun a girl's name (how very serial killer of him).
Hee.

I believe Grayza's pregnant because the actress was.

I really liked the explanation of the origin of the Peacekeepers

There are a number of things in the series that make more sense if the Sebacians are descended from Humans. Look at the Princess, for one.

It's always fun when Moya takes matters into her own hands.

This, which started when she was pregnant, is really what made the "living ship" bit actually worthwhile. They're completely dependent on what is essentially a really big, pretty intelligent horse, with only limited communication abilities (actually, probably more of a donkey, personality-wise, but that's a whole other discussion)

Really, why must characters go into labor at the worst possible times?

Hand. Wavy. Magic. How are you not used to this by now? ::smiles innocently::

The whole, "Hey! Aeryn! You're back!" Thing is kinda like "You're Welcome", IMO. We finally get the character back like we like her, just before she goes away forever.

And he's had half the galaxy chasing after him for knowledge in his ( ... )

*points to "shooting makes me feel better" icon*

I think I've made about three, but this is the only one that's stuck around for a while.

We've actually known about Rygel's aquatic abilities since I, E.T., when he shuddered at being stuck in mud. "Guy knows mud", remember?

I think I read that doing Pilot's voice put too much strain on Lani's vocal cords and he couldn't do it anymore. Something like that. I really missed Pilot's "real" voice in the mini too.

The biggest comm for icons is snurchcons. Farscape Fantasy has an extensive collection of vids.

That's not the one I'm thinking about. It's the one that uses a shot of Aeryn having just whipped around to shoot during the battle on the Decimator.

Thanks for the icon/vid places!

Almost any vid you might want would be on Farscape Fantasy. Vids to look for:

DallasScaper's "Politik" and "Devil Went Down to Georgia".
Hank's "Enormous Penis" (so. funny.)
"Wear Sunscreen" (I forget the vidder)
LauraShapiro's "Come Together" and "Nutcracker" and the Chiana one (I forget the name of the song)
All of Lithiumdoll's stuff.
Fialka's 2 vids.

Vidders to look for who may not be on FarscapeFantasy: birgitm, sockkpuppett, sisabet, tazey.

Also, I have now interacted with two people, in the flesh, who think Duncan is an extremely interesting character and Teddy Dunn is a fantastic actor. They do exist!

I'd really like to see them and ladydisdain225 get into a "discussion". Plus it would two against one.
