Last year, I was able to once again provide my WonderCon reports every night after the happenings, but this year, I was just too tired and prioritized sleep over blogging. I'm getting old. But this year, while not as exciting as last year, did have its moments!

Aw. I think you are my LJ's #1 fan.
You're a very good writer. Just thought I'd remind you of that.
Thanks, Nicole.
Am I allowed to be excited about the Avatar movie, or is it going to be bad?
If you're excited about the movie, it means you're racist.
I saw the trailer, and I kept seeing things I remember from the show and squeeing, like, "Oh, look! Cabbages!"
EXCEPT THE CABBAGE MERCHANT WON'T BE IN IT.
Did any of the people from the show work on the movie?
No.

Besides that, though...it does look pretty cool. The trailer is pretty impressive...except for the kids' acting.

Doesn't seem small to me! Seems awesome. I've been to small cons. In fact, I was just at one this weekend.
I would also like one of the Avatar CDs, if you don't mind.

Yeah, it's really not that small. Over 34,000 people. But in comparison to Comic-Con, which is like three times that, it seems small. I'm sure there's smaller.
Seems awesome.
Well, come out here for one sometime!

I've been saying "I'm going to San Diego next year" and I never do. But I think I'm going to San Diego next year.

A local sci-fi/fantasy/gaming con called ConGlomeration. About 500 attendees. There's some programming, but I mainly go to hang out with my friends and play boardgames all weekend.
