WonderCon 2010, Day 1: Scoring and Shitting

Last year, I was able to once again provide my WonderCon reports every night after the happenings, but this year, I was just too tired and prioritized sleep over blogging. I'm getting old. But this year, while not as exciting as last year, did have its moments!

Did not know that about Max Brooks.
Oh, good, I'm glad it's not something that, like, EVERYONE knows and I somehow missed it. They didn't publicize it, the way they don't say Joe Hill is Stephen King's son. Which I understand.

FWIW, the Heroes character is, in fact, deaf. Which made her synesthesia pretty cool, actually (she couldn't hear, but she could *see* sounds). Sadly, this did not help the snow very much.

*is jealous of your WonderCon-ing!!* (kind of glad that Bear McCreary wasn't on that music panel of awesome, because then I would have to *hate* you. ;-P)

who I learned while waiting was the son of Mel Brooks.
He's also the son of Anne Bancroft, and I've never seen a picture of him before yours, but man, does he look like it.
